Win 2 Free Registrations to Ideation Conference Posted Friday, January 14, 2011 by McKenzie Vincent I would like to nominate Vince Hungate for the free pass. Vince has a non-profit oiitnrzaagon in the city of Atlanta that works with marginal youth in the Atlanta Public Schools. In a program called Fifteen, he takes students from the bottom 80% of their school in their 10th grade year into a leadership and life skills development program. A lot of these students are not even on track to graduate when they enter the program, but through a 3 year developmental program, Vince is able to give these students a hope for tomorrow. They are on their 3rd graduating class of the program and 100% of the students not only have graduated high school, but all have gone on to college, many on full rides. Vince has changed the trajectory of these students lives and is helping break the cycle of poverty on their families. Not only does Vince work with the students in the Atlanta Public Schools, he has a conference every summer called DoGood Experience. This conference takes high school and college students and equips them to do social good in their communities and around the world. Not only do speakers and artists come in and teach the students about social good and its importance, Vince mobilizes these students into the city of Atlanta to work hands on doing social good around the city. His heart is for the younger generation to step up and serve. He is working to literally change the culture of the next generation to love and serve others around them. Three girls from last year's DoGood Experience have raised over $30,000 to build wells overseas. Vince is doing a great work in the lives of the upcoming generation, and he deserves to go the Ideation Conference.
